The Formula V8 3.5 went back on-track today at Silverstone. The British venue is steeped in motorsport history and hosted the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Great Britain two weeks ago. A race that featured many stars coming from the RPM-promoted championship. But as soon as the cars hit the track, it were the drivers of the future to impress with Roy Nissany and René Binder delivering an outstanding performance.

The Lotus duo led both the Collective Test sessions held at the British venue in preparation for round 5. After leading the pack early, the Israeli driver kept his name at the front in the afternoon, lowering his quickest lap from 1:41.843 to 1:41.488 despite the slight temperature increase from 19°C to 23°C.

Roy Nissany
“We had a great day, ending up on top in both sessions. As shown by the fact that my team-mate right was right behind me in second place the team has some potential. The car feels great and we just made a few adjustments. I’m ready to push as hard as possible tomorrow”.
