The preparatory work for the 2016 Formula V8 3.5 season ended up with lots of positive and optimistic feelings for the Lotus 3.5 team at Motorland Aragón. With less than one week before the opening round of the season, which will be held at the cutting-edge venue near the historic city of Alcaniz, the team set the second fastest laptime in the fourth and final session with Roy Nissany. The Israeli racer, who was busy with set-up tests and race simulations in the previous segments, delivered a phenomenal performance once he was able to run with new tires, staying among the frontrunners of the pack.

Roy Nissany:
“This days were pretty intense. We worked a lot on this track and for me it was a stunning experience. The wind played a major role here, changing a lot from the set-up to the braking points and the references on track. It has been important to experience it and I’ll keep it in mind because it’s a key situation to learn. We are working a lot to have the right balance. We went on medium downforce too, focused on the lap time just in the last session and it was great”.
